2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid
The Santa Fe Hybrid presents an attractive mix of efficiency and practicality, which Hyundai adds to this model year with a new base trim called the SE. It offers a lower-cost entry point to this three-row midsized crossover’s lineup, opening the model up to more buyers. The vehicle’s squared-off design carries a strong presence and is complemented by a versatile interior with three rows of seating and generous cargo space. Every version of the tech-laden Santa Fe Hybrid boasts a large infotainment touchscreen and advanced driver-assistance features. Meanwhile, select trims add luxury touches that include leather upholstery, premium audio, and even a massaging driver’s seat.
The 2026 Santa Fe Hybrid has industry-leading warranty coverage that provides five years of bumper-to-bumper protection and ten years or 100,000 miles of powertrain safeguards. Hyundai also includes complimentary Bluelink+ connected services, three years of standard scheduled maintenance, and five years of roadside assistance.
Trims and Powertrains
The Santa Fe Hybrid comes to 2026 buyers in four trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited, and Calligraphy. A turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, a synchronous electric hybrid motor, and a six-speed automatic gearbox form the powertrain. The system makes 231 combined horsepower, which is sent to a standard front-wheel drivetrain (FWD) or the available HTRAC all-wheel drivetrain (AWD).
The EPA-estimated fuel economy for a Santa Fe Hybrid with FWD is 37 mpg in urban driving and 36 mpg on the highway. With AWD, the Santa Fe has a rating of 35 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the open road. When it’s equipped with trailer brakes, the Santa Fe Hybrid can tow up to 2,000 pounds. With both rear rows folded flat, there’s a potential for 79.6 cubic feet of cargo space (you’ll get 40.5 cubic feet with just the second row folded flat, and 14.6 cubic feet in the designated cargo area.
