2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid
The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid continues to make its mark, building upon the redesign that marked
the introduction of this nameplate’s fifth generation. It stands out from other three-row, midsized
crossovers with its striking geometric exterior and innovative cabin featuring the Panoramic Curved

Trims and Powertrains
The 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid is offered in three trim grades: SEL, Limited, and Calligraphy. All of them are
powered by a hybrid powertrain that pairs a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric
motor, producing a combined 231 horsepower. This powerplant is mated to a six-speed automatic
transmission and can be paired with either standard front-wheel drive (FWD) or optional HTRAC all-wheel
drive (AWD).
In FWD form, the Santa Fe Hybrid achieves an EPA-estimated 36 mpg in city driving
and 35 mpg on the open road, while AWD variants are rated for 35 mpg in urban driving and 34 mpg on the
highway. The Santa Fe Hybrid offers 14.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 40.5 cubic feet
with the third row folded, and 79.6 cubic feet behind the first row. It can tow up to 2,000 pounds with
the proper equipment, including trailer brakes.
Standard Features
The base-level SEL comes well appointed with a range of comfort and convenience features. Seating for
seven is standard, with H-Tex leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, and an eight-way power
driver's seat. Dual-zone climate control with vents for all three rows ensures comfort throughout the
cabin, while proximity keyless entry, push-button start, and digital key capability provide easy access.
The SEL’s equipment list also includes a hands-free power liftgate, LED exterior lighting with automatic
headlamps, roof rails, 4.2-inch information display, rear privacy glass, heated power side mirrors with
integrated turn signals, LED cabin lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, four USB ports, wireless
device charging, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Limited raises the appeal with leather upholstery,
a dual-panel sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a six-way power
front passenger seat. The driver position is upgraded with a heated steering wheel, a memory system, and
expanded lumbar controls. Some additional Limited amenities include a 12.3-inch digital instrument
panel, a premium headliner, rear window sunshades, power-folding side mirrors, a UV-C sanitizing feature
in the upper glove compartment, a 110-volt AC power outlet, third-row USB ports, an auto-dimming
rearview mirror, ambient cabin lighting, automatic windshield wipers, and 20-inch wheels.
The
top-of-the-line Calligraphy trim takes the Santa Fe Hybrid further upscale by adding Nappa leather
upholstery and massaging front seats while swapping the second-row bench seat for a pair of captain’s
chairs (changing the passenger capacity to six). It also gets a head-up display, a digital rearview
mirror, dual wireless device charging, and a microfiber headliner.
Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology
Hyundai equips every 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid with the SmartSense safety suite. This comprehensive grouping
includes forward collision avoidance (with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection), as well
as lane-keeping assist and lane-following assist. The other standard safety technologies include forward
attention warning and monitoring, blind-spot collision-avoidance warning, rear cross-traffic collision
prevention, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, driver attention warning, safe exit assist,
and front and rear parking sensors.
The Limited and Calligraphy add a blind-spot view monitor, a
surround-view monitor, highway driving assist, side parking sensors, and reverse parking
collision-avoidance assist, while just the Calligraphy adds blind-spot collision-avoidance assist.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Across all three trims, the Santa Fe Hybrid gets a 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, and Bluelink+ connected services. The Limited and Calligraphy add touchscreen functionality, built-in navigation, and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot. The SEL has a multi-speaker audio system that’s upgraded to a 12-speaker Bose system in the higher trims.
