2024 Hyundai SANTA FE for Sale or Lease in Capitol Heights
2024 Hyundai SANTA FE
Hyundai’s ever-popular Santa Fe has been redesigned for the 2024 model year. For over two decades, it has been acknowledged as one of the best-selling family vehicles, so it’s no surprise that it’s starting its fifth generation. This time around, it’s bigger and shows off a more formidable look, with superior amenities and amplified performance thanks to a new turbocharged engine. The 2024 Santa Fe also welcomes the brand-new XRT trim, a rugged trail-rider for those who enjoy wilderness escapades. Meanwhile, the interior adopts a standard third-row seat that increases seating capacity from five to seven, as well as a vast cargo area providing up to 79.6 cubic feet of space.
Despite all of these changes, Hyundai continues to cover the Santa Fe with industry-leading warranty protection and a 3-year/36,000-mile complimentary maintenance plan, which takes care of routine oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections.
Trim Levels, Powertrain, and Capabilities
Hyundai’s three-row 2024 Santa Fe is presented in five distinct trims: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy. Underneath the hood, you’ll find a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 277 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque; an eight-speed automatic transmission completes the powertrain. Front-wheel drive is standard in most trims, but they can all be optioned with all-wheel drive (it’s standard in the XRT). When it comes to towing, most ’24 Santa Fe trims are good for pulling up to 3,500 pounds, but the hardier XRT boasts a 4,500-lb. maximum.
The FWD ’24 Santa Fe trims have been found by the EPA to return 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. With AWD, the Santa Fe’s city fuel economy remains the same, while its highway fuel economy decreases by a single mpg. With the weight of its additional amenities, the XRT dips slightly to 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway.
Amenities of Note
Hyundai left nothing to be desired with the all-new 2024 Santa Fe. With the entry-level SE, you’ll get stain-resistant cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a hands-free liftgate, heated side mirrors, four USB charge ports (two in each row), a 4.2-inch multi-information display, a rear-seat quiet mode, second-row HVAC vents, an underfloor storage tray, and special H-motif LED headlights. The SEL gains Digital Key, H-Tex leatherette upholstery, heated front seats with power adjustability for the driver, wireless phone charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, side-view mirrors with turn-signal indicators, roof rails, and third-row HVAC vents. The inaugural XRT raises the bar with all-terrain tires, an exterior C-pillar assist handle for easy roof access, a 110-volt power outlet, and Hyundai Pay, which lets you use the 12.3-inch touchscreen to make purchases from participating merchants (including gas stations).
The Limited spoils its passengers with leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats with power adjustability for the passenger and position memory for the driver, heated rear seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a dual-pane sunroof, power-folding side mirrors, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, two additional USB charge ports, ambient interior lighting, a UV-C sanitizing glovebox compartment, and manual rear sunshades. At the pinnacle of the Santa Fe trim range, the Calligraphy boasts elegant Nappa leather upholstery, a driver’s seat with leg-cushion extension, second-row captain’s chairs (which decrease seating to six), a 12-inch head-up display, another wireless phone charger, and a digital rearview mirror.
Cutting-Edge Safety Aids
Every ’24 Santa Fe comes with the Hyundai SmartSense safety suite, which includes forward collision-avoidance assist (with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection), adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, front and rear parking sensors, rear occupant alert, driver attention warning, and safe exit assist. The XRT and higher add navigation-based adaptive cruise control and highway driving assist. At the Limited level, a surround-view monitor is added along with Remote Smart Parking Assist, a blind-spot view monitor, and side parking sensors. Only the top-tier Calligraphy has blind-spot collision-avoidance assist and a more advanced version of highway driving assist.
Staying Connected and Entertained
Standard across all ’24 Santa Fe trims is a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. In the XRT and above, onboard navigation and dynamic voice recognition are included. The audio situation is trim-dependent as well. While most come with a simple multi-speaker setup, the Limited and Calligraphy are adorned with a 12-speaker Bose that provides exceptional sound.
